Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog! My name is Karla Perez. I’ve started this site, not only to have a platform in which I can freely express my opinions and expose my work to a wider audience but also to have a way to inform people about various topics. In this odyssey I am about to embark on, I hope I can show my progress on becoming a better writer and person.
Just so whoever is reading this out there is well informed about the person whose work they are reading, I will continue by stating a few fun facts about myself. I was born on December 23, 2003, in Havana, Cuba. I currently live in Miami, Florida and have been here since November of 2014. I am an ENTP in the famous MBTI personality test. I have tons of interests and hobbies, but the ones that stand out the most are singing, dancing, and writing. At the moment, I study at Miami Lakes Educational Center, and I am proudly a part of the Cambridge, Journalism Magnet Program, in which I serve as a Staff Writer for our newspaper, “The Harbinger.”
